Man U wins Uefa Champions League

As a former soccer goalie, I hate to see a match go to penalty kicks. No one likes to see a team lose like that, and as much as I love Man U Chelsea is a great team and losing that way sucks.

Anyhoo...for those that watched the game...

• That combination synthetic turf with sod laid over it, what is that all about? I can't believe they had to play a final on such a shitty pitch.

• More importantly, did everyone see Drogba slap Vidic? Rightfully he got sent off the pitch, but I was waiting for the ass kicking Vidic was going to give Drogba.
  

I'm sorry but Vidic already looks like he's been in his share of bar room brawls. There was a reason you saw Terry holding him back. It didn't look like he was just going to give Drogba a little love slap back either.

I just hope Man U is smart enough to keep Ronaldo next season.
